If the broadcast refuses to launch or freezes every few seconds, the first thing to check is upload speed. BIGO LIVE needs at least 3–5 Mbps stable upload for a decent stream. Run a speed test, and if numbers look fine, try switching from Wi-Fi to mobile data or vice versa — sometimes the router is just having a bad day. Also close background apps that eat bandwidth.
This usually means the cached data has gotten corrupted. Go to your phone''s app settings, clear the cache (not the full data, just cache), then restart. If that doesn''t help, uninstall and reinstall the latest version from the official store — old builds sometimes conflict with OS updates.
- Double-check that Caps Lock isn''t on when entering the password
- If you log in via Facebook or Google, make sure those accounts are accessible and not restricted
- Reset the password through the official recovery flow — the reset email sometimes lands in spam
- If two-factor auth is enabled, confirm your phone number is still active
Failed purchases are usually a bank-side issue, not the app. Check that your card supports international transactions and online payments. Some banks block in-app purchases by default — a quick call to your bank or toggling the setting in their mobile app fixes it. Also make sure the billing address matches what''s on file with your card provider.
If streams load as a black screen or spin forever, try switching video quality to a lower setting — there''s a quality selector during playback. If multiple streams have the same issue, the problem is almost certainly on the network side: high latency or packet loss. Restarting your router often helps more than people expect.
Chat failures usually come down to a flaky connection. The app needs a stable session to push messages — if you''re on the edge of a Wi-Fi zone or have intermittent mobile signal, messages queue up and time out. Move closer to the router or switch networks. If the issue persists on a solid connection, logging out and back in resets the session.
