U1 HOST outage statistics
After updating DNS records, propagation takes up to 48 hours - but often the issue is a typo in the A or CNAME record. Open your DNS zone editor, double-check that the IP matches the one in your hosting control panel, and flush the local DNS cache: on Windows run ipconfig /flushdns, on macOS sudo dscacheutil -flushcache.
If you can''t get into the client area, first rule out a simple caps-lock issue with the password. If that''s fine, try a different browser or clear cookies and site data - the session token may be stale. Still locked out? Use the password reset link; the email usually arrives within two minutes.
- Make sure the cert is issued for the exact domain (including www if needed)
- Check the expiry date in the panel - auto-renewal sometimes fails if the billing email bounced
- After reissuing, wait 5–10 minutes and do a hard refresh (Ctrl+Shift+R)
Most declined transactions come down to three things: the card''s 3D Secure confirmation didn''t complete, the billing address doesn''t match the bank record, or the card has a foreign transaction block. Try a different payment method or contact your bank to confirm the charge is allowed.
FTP upload finished but nothing shows? Check file permissions - web-accessible files typically need 644, directories 755. Also confirm you uploaded to the correct public_html folder, not the root of the FTP account.
- Compare load in your hosting panel - if CPU or RAM is consistently at 90%+, the current plan is undersized
- Check for runaway cron jobs or PHP scripts stuck in a loop via the process manager
- Enable server-side caching (OPcache for PHP) if it''s disabled
If outgoing mail lands in spam or bounces, the SPF and DKIM records are usually the culprit. In the DNS zone, make sure the SPF record includes the hosting mail server and that DKIM is activated in the email settings panel. Missing PTR record on the server IP is another common cause - raise a ticket so the support team can set it on their end.
